Fourth Element - Men's Surface Suit 4/3 mm

A suit for the surface — snorkelling, freediving, paddleboarding, open-water swimming — and the most interesting thing about it is what it is made of.

The neoprene is not neoprene. It is Yulex Pure, a plant-based alternative made from FSC-certified natural rubber, grown without artificial irrigation and processed using recycled water, with the plant waste burned as biomass. The linings are recycled polyester spun from ocean-bound plastic bottles, and the seams are blindstitched with water-based adhesives rather than solvent glues. If a customer has ever asked you what the greener option is, this is the honest answer.

The design is deliberately minimal. Instead of a back zip there is a mini chest zipper — less water entering, and far more freedom in the shoulders, which is the whole point on a suit you are swimming in rather than diving in. The material is flexible enough, and the ankle and wrist seals tight enough, to keep suit flush down.
