A hybrid fin: the thrust of a technical jet fin with the foot pocket of a recreational one. If you have tried rubber jet fins and found them punishing, this is the class of fin that fixes that without giving up the power.
The blade is thermoplastic vulcanisate (TPV) — flexible, recyclable, and lighter than moulded rubber — on an ergonomic open-heel foot pocket with stainless steel spring straps fitted as standard, not as an upgrade.
They are negatively buoyant, and that is the reason to buy them specifically: in a drysuit your feet float, and a negative fin is what puts you back in trim instead of fighting to keep your legs down. In a wetsuit in warm water, a negative fin is the wrong choice.
There are moulded holes for hanging, which sounds trivial and is the difference between fins that dry and fins that smell.
