The MIDI version of Tecline's aluminium backplate: same 3 mm powder-coated aluminium and same DIR hole pattern as the standard plate, shortened so it sits correctly on a smaller torso.

Tecline recommends the MIDI for divers between 150 and 170 cm. On a shorter diver a full-length plate rides down over the hips and pushes the waist strap out of position — the MIDI fixes that without any change to how the harness, wing or STA mount.
