XDEEP Secure / Droppable Weight Pockets (Main Ballast)
These are primary quick-release weight pockets that mount securely to the waist strap and bolt directly to the backplate. This prevents shifting or bumping during a dive.
Design
Features an internal removable pouch with a sturdy handle and durable zipper/buckle system (using ITW Nexus safety buckles) so you can hand up the entire weight load easily when boarding a boat
Sizes Available:
- Size S: 2 × 2 kg capacity
- Size M: 2 × 3 kg capacity
- Size XL / L variants: Up to 2 × 6 kg capacity, made of durable Cordura 1100 dTEX.
Mounting: Can be attached to single-tank cylinder cam-bands, waist straps, or 2-inch (50 mm) shoulder webbing.
Features: Built with an internal polymer reinforcement plate that grips standard webbing tightly so the weights do not slide around. Sold as a matched pair.
Capacity: Available in sizes like Medium (holds up to 2 kg per pocket) and Large (accommodates up to 10 lbs / approx. 4.5 kg per pocket).
